If you’re a College student trying to finish School online, then this Laptop is Best Recommended. Every Damn Video is gonna Have the same comment of how Shit any computer is… just Find something with good Specs, and focus on Classes. This is Great for Computer Science, especially for Online Classes, and just coding, and Web Development. Good luck on your endeavors Folks!

Looking forward to see a review of the 'Ideapad Slim 5i 16". Please review the base model with FHD+ IPS display. Lenovo is giving that laptop with a FHD+ 100% sRGB almost everywhere but they still keep that terrible 42% NTSC version around.

Seen a good Inspiron 14 Plus deal with Ultra 7 processor 155H 32GB, 2x16GB, LPDDR5X, 6400MT/s 2.8K display @ £761.The hdmi port is a non issue for me as have never used one in any laptop i have had.Thanks for the review.

I've got the i7 with RTX 4050 graphics card version of this laptop. It was very necessary to update the BIOS and all driver software (chipset, graphics etc.), throttle back the processor to 90% and then install Dell Power Manager - which let's you run the machine in "Quiet", "Balanced", "Fast" mode etc. as appropriate. Now the noise and heat are manageable, and the machine is stable. And yes, the obsolete HDMI port kinda sucks. To be fair to DELL, they've packed a lot of power in a very compact package, but there are compromises in doing that. Good luck !

So, with the charger Dell provides in the box, you can't charge and use the USB-C port at the same time. You need to order a separate barrel plug charger if you want to do that.

I’ve never understood why Dell doesn’t sell anywhere except their site ((maybe in the US or other countries it’s different, I don’t know, but _in my country you can’t buy Dell machines in any physical store, _ retail and non…even Amazon only has “imported” models))….if Dell thinks doing that makes their products more exclusive and premium, they really need to reconsider their marketing strategies for my country.
