How a company can become ‘cyber-resilient’

Commvault CEO Sanjay Mirchandani explains how companies can recognise the threat of cyberattacks and recover quickly.

Mr Mirachandani says it all comes down to being routinely vigilant and having a system that can recover quickly in the event of a hack.

“You have to be able to test and know for certain how long it takes you to bring back your mission-critical applications,” he said.

“You have to have done it before, rehearsed it, practiced - you don’t run a marathon without really taking it apart and practicing it.

“If it happens to your company, you should have rehearsed this. Not as a tabletop exercise but in practical ways.”
