There are tears on his face at 7:41 when he talked about racism towards asians. Say no to racism.

I have watched dozens of his videos. He is a gift to humanity, plain and simple. Thanks for what you do Mr. Woo.

'I want him to either become a doctor or a lawyer.' - Every Asian parent
(edit) I think a lot of people in the comments misunderstood me, I directly quoted this from the video, I do understand that engineers are also in the group of professions Asian parents want us to be and I do understand that there are Asian parents who don't mind what their child wants to do. I am just speaking about the majority of Asian parents who do worry and care a lot about their child's profession e.g. my parents and a lot of my friends' parents.

I remembered when I was 10, I have finally passed my Math test after hours & hours of hard work. I was so happy that I teared. My teacher just shut me up and shame me in-front of my classmates & said, “you merely passed, are you that contented?” It hit me real hard and even thinking of it now... I really wished she didn’t have said that. She has no idea how much she had damaged me in that split seconds.

I had the privilege and honour of attending Eddie Woo's classes. There's no doubt that he's a true manifestation that teaching is not only a profession but a call. God bless!

This is simply heart breaking. Life just kept throwing a curve ball at Eddie at each stage. Hope he is rewarded for his effort, empathy, kindness and character.

Eddie is a great man...rare is when someone who suffered so much in his childhood...grew up care about others. That is character.

I remember once I couldn’t do my math homework because I didn’t understand and started crying, the next day the teacher called me lazy

I had a Maths teacher like back in high school here in Nigeria . We always looked forward to his classes. He made Maths so simple and fun. We called him Sir ' I love you' cos whenever anyone answered any of this questions correctly, he would blurt out ' Wonderful! I love you!'. lol

He's genuinely passionate about his subject. Something which the vast majority of teachers at my school were not.

Guess I'm lucky to have a Math teacher like him in high school. He didn't just teach Math but also advised us on never giving up in life. We love him so much we paid him extra tuition class to teach us.

Wait wtf he's Malaysian??! Ayyy more great Math teachers from Malaysia.
