At a time when the coronavirus pandemic means kids across the world are now learning from home, Eddie says he understands the pressures parents are under.

Excellent discussion. Some very important points were brought to attention and I very much appreciate the understanding Eddie has with kids in schools. I also believe that while Eddie is a great example of an amazing teacher, there are MANY other examples of amazing teachers who do excellent work in schools. I believe COVID-19 has only further shown just how many passionate teachers there are in this country.

Teachers don’t teach because of the pay. When passion outdoes the love of money.

All these innovations and thousands more come to us from science, mathematics, engineering, and technology—no, let's rephrase that: They came to us from people schooled in those disciplines and from people associated with them who supplied the entrepreneurial energies and capital that the scientist, engineer, and technologist may have lacked. COVID-19 has only further shown just how many passionate teachers there are. However, online lessons have found greater audience.

The dont agree the Asian good with math and the Australian kids perform badly . If you dont have a teacher willing to help your child then that what happen. The principle only allow to employ Aussie teacher and they only want to get pay. There should be a fundamental changes to school in Australia. All schools in Australia should employ minimum 50% teachers from the non English speaking background. If the cant help the student then they should go like the Australian teacher too. You have to be ruthless and show no mercy like Viet.
