Mongolian/Tibetan gray wolves are considerably smaller than North American gray wolves. On the other hand, golden eagles are very large, with wingspans up to 7 feet. One eagle was seen on a camera trap attacking and eating a deer. They are more powerful than you would think, but you wouldn't see an eagle doing this to a wolf in Alaska... that's for sure.

The wolf fans in this comment section, or wolfaboos as I call em, are just hilarious to watch. They can’t handle the sight of seeing a wolf getting owned by other predators so they either say it’s a coyote, or say “Lucky it wasn’t an alpha male Mackenzie Valley wolf/dire wolf.” to cope.
