Also in Balkan regions of Europe we make Elderberry syrup. It is very easy to make, you just need sugar, elderberry flowers and lemons! And than you just dilute that syrup in glass of water..
It's the best juice in summer time.. Nice regards from Bosnia and Herzegovina 👋❤

I am in England and I dehydrate elderflower en mass every year and use it to make floral herbal teas, as well as in baking to make biscuits - yummy yummy! I also make elderberry wine later in the year. There is so much of this growing native in our area and we forage for it xx

Yes please! One of those instant karma elderberries also! The beautiful blooms on elderberries remind me of Queen Anne's Lace!

I just bought 3 elderberry bushes because I saw them in your videos and fell in love with the layered look and colour of the black lace and lemony lace. The info about pruning to keep them smaller is really helpful so thanks for that.

My non-gardening husband was given a little native elderberry sprig. It was almost dead before he planted it but he tended to it over the years. It grew HUGE and the birds loved the berries!

Hi Laura, I´m from the Czech republic Europe and I´ve recently offered the fried elderberry flowers to our dear indian friends to show them what the nature gives us. You need only a little bit of salt, eggs, flour and some spices. Mix and create a nice creamy consistancy, dip the flower and fry. You can keep the stem and use it for the eating with your hands. We do the same way the black locust flowers and these are much more frangrant. Love your enthusiasm for gardening. Veronika

Yes, my mum and grandmother always used to fry the elderflowers in a beer batter, dust them with icing sugar and its one of my favourite childhood treats 😊

I love how they blend with other plants and trees. The variegated leaves are awesome. Never before have I complained about your video's, this one was too short. I didn't even get one cup of coffee down. Hey, come on. I look forward to this in the morning around noon. lol Loved the overhead effect Aaron, was beautiful! See you in the next one.

Elder berry bushes grow wild here and are in full bloom right now. You can also make a cordial with the blooms.

I have never heard of anyone frying the flowers, but where I live it's very common to use the flowers or the fruits to make Elder syrup. It's quite good!
