2023 Oscar Predictions: Best Actor | Awards Predictions

Career actors are on the cusp of long-overdue recognition. Formerly distanced action heroes making the grandest of comebacks. Young talents breaking out with an exciting new legacy to begin. And one of the last true movie stars in Hollywood. These are just some of the narratives that award voters will be looking to follow as the race for the Best Actor Oscar begins to kick into gear.

In this video, we’ll be predicting a nomination list of our own. As is typical of the awards season, there are those potential nominees who have broken out early with a substantial lead over their competition, but there are also those who are steadily gaining momentum and may have the resume and support necessary to pull off a major upset.

Haven't seen the other performances, but I didn't get a feeling that Austin Butler's performance is worthy of Best Male Actor. I was entertained by him, but I don't know if he was able to separate himself from the role. I didn't think Rami Malek deserved Best Male Actor playing Freddie Mercury. Having seen a few of Rami Malek's performances, it's always Rami Malek being Rami Malek, who's not able to separate himself from his roles.

Overall top cinema entertainment value is Tom Cruise and Austin Butler …. Both highly deserving …. Great body of work by Tom …. Who is extraordinarily wealthy and deservedly so …. Great performance by Austin …. Austin won 2023 BAFTA & Golden Globe Awards …. So in extremely woke Las Angles, California my guess is Fraser wins …. And Tom becomes a billionaire and Austin eventually becomes a billionaire … and Brandon has a nice award to put on his mantle. Just my guess.
