Naatu Naatu already won 2 awards for *Best Original Song* which is a strong pre cursor for winning & it's very deserving.

We can't lose this one dude, we can't also recreate the hype again for years.

I hope Everything Everywhere All At Once will win best picture. We need different kinds of movies to win best picture not straight-dramas all the time. An action/sci-fi movie winning best picture would be a game changer.

Also my pick for best live action short -- The Red Suitcase. Very powerful for a short.

top gun is only winning if it also wins WGA for adapted screenplay, and Women Talking is likely to win that.

But even if it does win both PGA and WGA, I think the biggest hurdle is lack of SAG/Acting noms. Every best picture winner of the century either had an acting nom or won ensemble (LOTR)

Michelle Yeoh will win because of the momentum generated. SAG also has the largest membership overlap with the Oscar voters. Plus EEAAO has garnered good favourable attention with the Oscar international voters. Plus Cate has already indicated somewhat in her sppeches and interviews that she wsnt Michelle Yeoh to win. Michelle has greatt interaction energy with her peers in SAG. The crafts people are also amazed at what Michelle Yeoh did in her show.

We watched The Boy The Mole The Fox and The Horse with our 13 year old son and all 3 of us enjoyed it.

I don't see either Lift Me Up or Hold My Hand winning Best Original Song. It's almost pretty clear that Naatu Naatu's the frontrunner. Lift Me Up basically came and went without leaving a bigger impact and Hold My Hand, which I absolutely ❤️, didn't get any love from any of the major precursor award bodies. Hell it lost the SCL ( which isn't major but still is pretty remarkable in predicting the Oscars) to fucking Applause. Meanwhile Naatu Naatu's been on a roll!!! It won the GG and CCA and won another 6 Best Song awards from various critics groups cementing itself as the frontrunner earlier this year. And why not. The song is a Bangerrr!!! It's so infectiously catchy and energetic. Plus Naatu Naatu has its own interesting little story to tell in the movie. There are many more factors favouring Naatu Naatu than any other songs in the conversation.

I would say that you did not see the MOvie Elvis. Have you seen what Austin Butler did. For three years he did everything to make the biopic so great. He transformed himself and embodied the body and sould of Elvis. I get pissed when these sci fi movies like avatar and strange things should be in their own category. Brandan put on a fat suitl. Austin was Elvis. You can't believe how much he looks and acts like Elvis. This pisses me off because people saying it is just another elvis movie. Well, go watch the movie. It's not just a movie it's the biopic and you will feel like you are in the company of Elvis with austin Butler. I'm sorry Brandon does not deserve the reward. The movie the whale wasn't great.
