In this video, I show you how to clean a dry brush. In my other videos on dry brushing for lymphatic drainage, I frequently received the questions: "how do you clean your dry brush?" and "How often should you clean your dry brush". So I hope this video helps to answer these questions!

1) ideally, you’d wash your brush every day. Not less than once a week
2) wash it with a gentle body wash with warm water in a shallow bowl. Rinse well. Keep the water away from the base to avoid melting the glue or damaging the wood (your bristles would fall off otherwise). Leave it to dry on a towel with the bristles side down

Thank you for this! I'm new to your page and looking forward to learning more:). I received a dry brush during cancer treatment and had no idea how to use it 🙈.

Just bought a set of brushes and they also have some with wood bases and rubbery knobby things on them lol. Thank you for these videos, it really means a lot right now.

Hi, I was wondering if you could please tell me the name of the brand of the small face brush you are using here --the one with the 2 different colored lines of wood. Thank you for the lovely videos.

Thanks for sharing. Is there another option? We got rid of Dr. Bronner products in our household. How about using Baking soda and vinegar?

Hi, I saw that you are using Castille for cleaning your brush. Do you also use it as a body wash and shampoo? Can you make video on how and what are the uses of this soap to you?

Hmm, I take my brush into the shower after dry brushing where it doubles as my scrub brush with my soap (cetophil), and I then scrub it in there after use and hang it to dry. If and when it finally breaks down, I will get a new one. I've had the present brush about 5 months and so far it is still looking like new, softer if anything.

I use a sea sponge for dry brushing, so I've just been tossing it in the washing machine with a gentle ecofriendly soap. Is that okay?
