Submariner was not on my list, but after listening to your videos I was convinced that I ''needed" one, for the reasons you mentioned on this video and others. I was offered also a Seadweller but was decided on the SUB. I was able to purchase the submariner like the one on this video from AD in Colombia. Thank you again

Love the videos. Married 26 years and my wife bought me the Sub date for our 10th. Wear it every day. Headed to local AD this morning to get (on the list apparently) for a Batman. Have 2 sons - they each can fight over which one they get when I pass.

Of all my watches I love my sub the most, the only Rolex (of similar value) I would swap it for is a blue dial yacht master 40, more than rugged enough for my everyday use but a bit classier for nights out. A very underrated watch that is rarely seen.

I gotta agree with you. I enjoy the Daytona and Explorer 1 and 2 but my Submariner is perfect every day. It just works for anything and is gorgeous!

Great video, thank you so much. Two years ago I would agree with you. Today the best Rolex in my opinion any 36mm with the domed bezel on the leather strap. I have a 7.25 inch wrist, and my personal favorites are OP36, Datejust 36mm, Explorer 1 and Day-date platinum in 36mm with domed bezel. Everything else including the Sub is too recognizable and dangerous to wear.

I love your watch reviews mate. Honestly i only watch your ones. Believe me i am not saying for the sake of saying.

I need your honest advice if u can pls,
I got a 41mm No date sub, i got a Seiko SLA055, Few G-shock MRG and MTG versions, Apple Ultra 2 and an Omega.

But i want to get the Panda Daytona or after watching your videos now i am tossing between the panda and the ghost :) but right now its too far stretch with price so i have just put it on hold.

But i got a 7.5 inch wrist, i am really into the SD43 sea dweller the 50th anniversary one with the cyclops. I never liked the cyclops personally but i feel i need to have one anyway due to its uniqueness.

Do you think a SD43 will be good for my wrist. Pls let me know if you want me to email you some photos of my watches and how the Sub 41 is on my wrist.

Also i went to a Rolex AD and saw a SD43 but as the shop was too busy i couldn't really get a photo with the watch on i feel crazy why i didn't take a photo.

Pls help me. I really value your advice.

Your 100 percent right, submariner is the best! Followed by the GMT Master 2! The Daytona is such a Hideous and hyped watch!

Without doubt for me it's the datejust as the one watch collection, while the submariner is a great watch however I can't see it being dressed up while the datejust can be dressed down easily.

In my opinion the GMT is no 1 it does everything the sub does and more .trip lock waterproof and also gmt function, more comfortable on the wrist and more dressy.

Rolex have some stunning examples of watches for every occasion and I dare say I’m sure there is not a person on this earth that would like such a masterpiece of a watch as personally I would adore such an item.
Sadly I have to make do with a fashion watch as that’s as far as my budget will allow.
Would I like a sub Mariner watch ?
