The problem wasn't the lip syncing, 90% of the industry did it. It's that they NEVER sang it in the studio, and it WASN'T their voices to which they were lip syncing.

What's truly bizarre is that Rob Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan, as dancers, look far better live than in the video. That never happens. The video director should be embarrassed.

On en as rien à foutre c'étaient deux très bons Show man et ils nous divertissaient très bien et leurs spectacles étaient très très bien et je vois en tous cas que le chanteur du groupe chante leurs chansons aussi bien que l'originale, maintenant si ont leurs avaient fait plus confiance à l'époque, leur Connard de producteur qui les as balancer pour une histoire de fric aux États-Unis.

They might have been victims to a certain extent, but they got a taste of fame and decided to keep it going. You could see it in the show, their fear of getting found out was so much it made them run off stage in shame. If they were just being used, they wouldn't be ashamed or afraid people found out, because it wasn't their fault. Really it's the opposite, they'd be going out of their way to get the truth out there to be free of it. The greed ended terribly for them, unfortunately.

Lip-syncing over somebody else's vocals was very normal in Europe - only America saw this as a Scandal (because they won a grammy) - so I don't understand why Milli Vanilli couldn't of carried on their music career, but focusing mainly on Europe & the UK - like Boney M did? Just because their reputation was affected in America, doesn't mean they couldn’t have continued promoting new music everywhere else in the world? They still had fans globally??
