Honestly I prefer cheap gas and utilities, non GMO food and safe streets over Louis Vuitton's customers feelings

This won’t affect the uber-wealthy that purchased from those stores, as they will find a way to source their designer and luxury items from other creative means.
But what it WILL affect is all of those thousands of retail workers, cleaners, delivery personnel etc.
unemployment in the 3 big main cities of Russia will be crazy soon.
And it’s not like the outer regions can provide jobs for those workers.

I lived in Moscow from 2014-2020. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was down in this area at least twice a week for a while. I loved it. It is so sad to see it like this now. And the current military situation is just as sad. The city and country had potential. I loved it. But it's not the place I started planning to move to in 2013.

It's really strange seeing all these comments of people calling all sanctions against Russia a good thing keeping in mind there ain't no country in the world creating as much useless wars and cruelty in the world like America. Where are those sanctions??? Imperialism is a world wide problem, not a problem created by Russia only.
