This place looks from another world! Nothing like this in the UK. Any marketplaces in UK and London are fairly small. Even wholesale markets look tiny in comparison. What's really good about this place is that it is very very spacious, lots of room for everyone and very big pathways, so the place doesn't get too crowded even though there's 9000 shops!!!!

Was in a smaller market like this outside of Moscow - even that was amazing with the quality of the items as compared to what is in the US, absolutely would shop there over 95% of US stores.

Some ten years ago, an old well-dressed Korean gentleman approached me on a parking lot in Tagansky district... he asked repeatedly in broken English, "where is the fish? where is the falcon?" Slowly, I understood that he was looking for the old pet market (птичий рынок) that was closed in 2001 and relocated to Sadovod. I carefully gave him and his Russian guide directions ... but suspected that they won't find it. I'm afraid he was lost there forever in between fake Vuittons and shawarma stands...

Living in Moscow i avoid visiting such gloomy places.. But... I've been too many times to Sadovod for some reasons))
By the way, there is a large shopping complex MEGA across the road, which is more pleasant place!
Also, there is an exhibition of wooden houses!!

На самом деле садовод это то месту куда ездят многие, но многие почему-то это скрывают. Там продается много фейков, но в то же время там можно купить довольно качественные вещи, правда за качество вы всё равно не заплатите мало. Что хорошо там можно поторговаться и снизить цену, я скажу там надо торговаться, многие продавцы это любят. Как это обычно бывает - спрашиваешь цену, говоришь - это дорого, но не уходишь, тогда продавец начинает снижать цену, что ясно показывает на то, что первая цена была завышенной, так что торгуйтесь иначе можете заплатить гораздо выше чем это стоит на самом деле. Местечко конечно то ещё, но многие даже не подозревают, что покупают в других местах вещи именно с этого рынка, только ещё с наценкой перекупщика

Did sanctions work? Definitely not! This place is huge. You will probably need a couple of days to discover everything. Personally to big for me. 9500 vendors is a huge amount...damn. While the west take pride in their sanctions, that hurt them more Russia is absolutely thriving in abundance. Cheap as well. This video should leave a bitter taste in some westerners mouth as for those who are informed...this place is much much more than a gas station with nukes. How naive one must be to believe such nonsense. But as they say jealousy makes you nasty. Russia is an example to many countries. Lots of love to that wonderful place. Russia for ever. ❤ 🇷🇺
