Statistics - Introduction to Statistics

In this video I cover a little bit about what the subject of statistics is about. This is broken down into three main areas. Remember you will probably have to learn how to use a calculator, or some computer system to make the most of the statistics you learn, but you still have to learn the methods, and when they can be applied.

I just wanted to say thank you-- I just found your video today 28 August 22, and I wish I'd known about it years ago--when I was in college struggling terribly in my statistics class of which I failed-- twice 😔

I'm extremely visual and hands on--
Unfortunately, I was lost after the third week😥

However-- I didn't drop out-- I stuck with the class in hopes of "catching on" well that wasn't happening😆

And even talking with my Professor didn't help me much, because I had a different learning modiality-- I had to "SEE" and Visualize the concepts. And his technical explanations only served to confuse me more😩

Now, when I took my College Algebra course, my Professor was fabulous, I grasped the Algebra Formulas extremely well, as she helped me to visualize and do the work. But later, when it came to applying this math knowledge to my Statistics class-- I just couldn't wrap my head around the course. 😔

Now here I am-- years later-- still wanting to understand how it works, in a relatable way. And I like this about myself, I never give up!😄 It's never too late to learn!

I was told I need a ti84 for college algebra, but all I have is an old school ti85 from high school. Will the 85 do most, if not all of the things that a ti84 will do, or will I need to purchase an 84? Thanks for the help.
