Looks like Akio Toyoda's "no more boring cars" is coming to fruition. That's a Prius I wouldn't mind owning.

I'm thinking this will sell well even despite declining small cars sales. It looks good, is functional, reliable and fun to drive.

I have one of the non prime models (XLE) and I regularly get 55+ MPG. I’ve seen 65 MPG on short city drives

Finally, a Prius I won’t be ashamed to drive.

A Prius so stylish that I'd actually consider buying one!

The solar roof is cool if anything because you could park it at the airport of for long periods of time without being plugged in and not worry about battery loss over time. In a week long trip at the airport you might come back with 10-20 extra miles which is pretty neat.

I'm not totally sold on full EVs yet but this would be something I'd consider. Actually a nice looking car and great fuel economy.

this car is a game changer. the 40 mile commute is around the average commute in the US and with gas you don’t have to worry about battery

LOVE the solar roof. As a college student who drives twice a week about 10 miles, that would mean I wouldn’t have to refuel for months on end.

The new Prius has been getting a lot of love in the car magazines I subscribe to, but I'm much more interested in hearing The Straight Pipes' take on it! Let's go!

We've got a 2013 (Gen 3) Prius with 227, 000 miles that we've had for 7 years. Great car. Extremely reliable.

Wow I agree about the armrest and gauge cluster position. Damn. That's why I like these reviews because you get the genuine takes on even the little things, and it's the little things that matter. That armrest is a deal breaker for me.

Great video you guys! Toyota absolutely knocked it out of the park with this new generation. Stunning design. And that can't be said about the average new vehicle!

I legitimately want one of these. It's a little expensive, but it looks good, gets good gas mileage and isn't painfully slow like the old Prius. What more could you want in a daily?

Best looking Prius ever. Actually futuristic in a cool way. Love the direction.

Wow for a Prius it actually looks good for once! I was never a huge fan of the car but this is a really nice change

I saw the 2023 at the LA Auto Show late last year and really liked it. I was completely surprised because I thought they were going to discontinue the Prius. I own a 2004 Prius I bought new and was ready to pull the trigger on an Ioniq 5 in Cyber Gray, but in LA they are still selling for several thousand dollars over sticker. But after seeing the new Prius I changed my mind and will buy the new Prime version instead. The Toyota dealership where I put down the deposit has a policy of not charging over MSRP.

This is on my short list for suuuure. Looks great, killer gas mileage, and the electric only range would probably cover most of my commute anyway.

My biggest issue with hybrid was most things with good fuel economy is low hp fwd which does not meet my needs, but anything higher power and awd will end up with a big car that used to get 18mpg and now 25mpg which isn’t great either. This is perfect, 200hp awd 50mpg.
