John Wooden was a real man. He has always remained faithful to his views, to his family and to his cause, and above all to himself.

You notice, something has gone wrong in our society when people like the Kardashians and any drug addicts pop singers get more attention than really exemplary people like John Wooden.

What an amazing man. He was able to leave such a huge mark in his 99 years. Bless this man and may he Rest In Peace. ❤️

I listened to Beau Bridges being interviewed on Spikes car radio, so I looked up John Wooden. Even at 59 I still search for answers and motivation. I wish John was around now.

Arguably the greatest coach of all time in any sport. Read Kareem Abdul Jabbar's book about Wooden. Incredible story.

I pray to the Lord that he make me more like this man. My hero.

He would have loved the Mark Keppel HS girls' basketball program (at least the style they played of aggressive defense before a new coach eliminated that.) So cool to see short girls double up on a big player and yank the ball loose, quite often.

One he left out. Always allow your staff to cheat and break recruiting rules. And make sure you have plausible denial.
