I skipped the paper towel and just went straight to planting, I now have a kiwi plant that are putting forth yellow little flowers I have no clue on what that means

@Dave Baker I guess you can count that last video as an accidental trailer for this video, thanks for watching both!

Great video! I planted kiwi seeds straight from fruit and I had 6 seedlings pretty fast.. but after a few weeks they all died! I have one hanging on which was even starting a third leaf, but has the same problem as the rest, the edges of the leaves turn brown and shrivel up. Any idea what is going wrong?

Hi I read that to germinate aromatic golden kiwi seeds that they needed to be stratified. The instructions were- Stratify the golden kiwi seeds for successful germination. Moisten some perlite in a small sealable plastic bag, and bury the seeds in the medium. Refrigerate for about two months.
Have you stratified your seeds? OR did you just place them straight to the “hothouse” to germinate from the seeds?

3TIPS for Winter sprouting 🚨No need to TEASE baby 🌱 off paper towels the PT brake down fast if roots of anything are in the paper towels you TEAR OFF chunks of PT and plant them with the PT.. better then messing w fragile roots. 🚨 Reuse your whipped butter or cream cheese or yogurts with lids for delicate sprouts don't like to be transplanted simply put drain holes and loose light soil and plant seeds 💦and then put lid back on for the first week burp or check it every couple days, once you see GROWTH take lid off and DONT put in WINDOW glass double the light and can sunburn 🌱 just Florence light or most bulbs is enough light to start and maintain vegetative growth. (Difrent light spectrum and nutrients for fruiting) 🚨 Tip 3
Stronger stems with a fan near by make the 🌱 dance and they get stronger faster!! Before you know it your ready to put the BIG babies in the garden for spring and possibly getting two harvest late spring and fall 🤞🤞🤞

Just curious how big your plants got? I tried this and got lots of little plants that never grew over 6 inches tall after 6 months. Do I have bad conditions for them? Or do they engineer seeds so that you can't grow your own? Or...?

You need a male and female Kiwi plant unless you've got a self-pollinating variety.
