Kriet is my favorite pro. Funny guy and he's an amazing shakey head fisherman.

If you are new to bass fishing, this technique is your best shot at catching a largemouth bass. Kriet's one of the very cool guys on the B.A.S.S. Elite Tour. Always has time for the fans at the events...especially youngsters. Even after a bad day he has kind words for the crowds that show up. Not all B.A.S.S. pros are like that.

Good flourocarbon wouldnt cost upwards of 20+ dollars for a 150 yard spool if it was trash. And as for visibility, it does make a difference because in crystal clear water with no cloud cover, no wind and a heavily pressured body of water, the fish are extremely sensitive to anything unnatural like a dark braid, take the ramada quest at bull shoals in april for example. The smallest details pay off the biggest in the pros so i dont blame them for not throwing caution to the wind and using braid

It depends what knot and what brand you get. I like sufix flouro. Me personally i use braid more than anything with a flouro leader. But the flouro i buy definitely DOES NOT have more stretch then mono filament, at any point in time. But in my opinion mono gives you terrible hooksets.

It does matter, especially in a pressured situation. Fish get conditioned they see the line, hear the rattles, feel the thump, then the next time they see that they don't want nothing to do with it. You may think it doesn't but why jeapordize your success when you can use fluorocarbon anyway?

I think one of the biggest myths and misconception in fishing is that fish see and are affected by the size of fishing line...fish cannot see your line it does not make a difference...however the lighter the line the better the action in a bait....if fish could see fishing line and were turned off by it, we wouldn't ofbeen catching them for centuries....when i hear ppl say that theyre using flourocarbon because the fsh cannot see it, i laugh..it does not matter
