No disrespect intended to Ott, but the originator and first "master" of the shaking technique was Don Iovino out of Burbank, Ca. Don was the only guy around who had arm rests on his bow seat. Where he excelled was in catching suspended fish he tracked with his electronics.
My personal variation of the technique was to use lightweight "darter head" jigs and 4-inch paddle tail worms (HP122) made by a guy in Lake Isabella, Ca.

I seen video around end July a kid in Alabama caught 14 pounder on a shaky head. So whoever hates on a Shakey head is dead wrong.
