It's clear to me now why my husband of 5 years does not report our marriage in the US. I did everything I could to give me my rights but instead of explaining, he got mad of me. I also have never been to the US and have never met his family for the last 5 years. I guess he does not treat me as a wife but as a "companion or a caretaker" and just want to retire in the Philippines. If I could only turn back the times, I wish I did not get married..
