Hello Super Awesome People! Enjoy the video a bit early. I'm not sure if this video will be released on Dec 11 or Dec 18, but here you go!

@bv3D I suggest rooting the printer (officially supported by creality) and separate the X and Y input shaping. To get the speed AND the better slicer, OrcaSlicer is the way to go (it has profiles for the K1 and K1 max out of the box). Thanks for all the content, have a good one.

Thanks for the video I must say I printed the 600mms model stock which was impressive than rooted and tuned input shaper and man this is a beast when tuned!

Thank you for the review.
I was looking at the New Year's discounts and wondered if the speed compromises quality.
Thank you for the review.

Re: @11:20. You can create and save additional profiles, and save time by starting the provided ones. And I agree, the Creality Print app is a little rough around the edges.

mine printed like trash until i updated the firmware... now it's a dream, prints everything so nice... way better than my other printers... i'd say, just as good as the x1c we have at work... i feel like it prints faster... love this machine...

First we had 3d printers in bags, then mostly assembled, then down to bottom dollar, next adding some features back and now the need for speed.

Those vertical lines are VFA that happen when you slow down the print speed. This is something that all core xy machines are susceptible to to a certain extent. Some have said that tightening the belts has helped reduce the VFA ripples.

As other have said. Some of it has to do with core xy and the fact you will always get some vfa's. Now rooting it and going with stock klipper will help big time with any ghosting. Creality chose to use the same values twice for imput shaping instead of using a Xand Y value. I am puzzled as to why. And as others have also said the best tightness can also affect vfa's. Strangely enough i loosened my belts a bit and saw improvements. Mine was way too tight. So i guess try both and see. And as to how to do it. You will get 2 exra screws with your printer. You need to screw them into each side of the belt tighening assembly and then you loosen the two screws pinting towards the front on each side. The more you screw the one on the side in the looser the belt will get. Once done you tighten the 2 screws and then remove the screws you had just installed. It is hard to explain but there are some videos on it

My K1 Max came in a cardboard box but with a metal structure protector

I haven't used glue and have had no problems. I love mine.

vertical lines may be because your belts are a fraction too tight

They released the klipper firmware stopping the artifacts 👍

I’ve had mine for a few weeks and printed over 200 prints. I did replace the pei sheet with a different one that has a pattern on it. Never fails me and I don’t have any of the ringing you have. I guess I got a good one! And I share with no support. I emailed them about the cloud software twice with no response.

The rocket plane has a defect on it (from the STL) around the engine nacelle. The tool head will jump to the fuselage instead of rounding the corner. You can see it on your print at the 5:50 mark. I wish they had a fixed version because I have a very tall printer I have been wanting to print it out on. Maybe it's a Prusaslicer issue, I am not sure. If it happens to you on a different slicer it's something in the STL causing it. It happens to me when I try printing it, and it's super noticeable when you scale it up to 1.8mm nozzle width and 600 mm tall. EDIT: Also happens in Cura. It's an issue with the model itself.

I think it is resonance from the belt put a piece of belt up to the print and it looks like they line up.

@BV3D While the K1 is capable of using a AI LiDAR it doesn't ship with it, it was meant to be an addon but from what I hear from Bambu and K1 Max users the AI LiDAR is useless. Only the K1 Max has AI LiDAR. Only 2 upgrades I'd recommend is the Micro Swiss hotend and the AI Camera.

I must have this new "KFC"-1 so that my fast prints sound like chickens...🤣
Love the vids and the T-shirts are always one of my favorite parts. Keep it up and Happy Holidays!!!
