I really want to see a complicated model created in something like CF-PETG or ASA or CF-Nylon at 200-300mm. Honestly I think the true potential of these printers is not demonstrated when everyone only prints benchy in PLA. Thank you 🙏

It'd be nice to see some test prints at different materials and speeds (300, 400, 500, 600mm/s) to see if they are able to handle the highest speeds; the curved print is easy to orint at higher speeds since it doesnt have sharp corners, and some materials might also not work as well at higher speeds.

Is the lifespan of the parts dramatically decreased running at the full 600? I mean I’d be happy with 200 or 300 but I’m just curious. Seems like a lot more force on everything but I really don’t know if that’s how stepper motors work since I guess they’re always changing direction anyway?

where can i find the speed test stl, not the benchy?

I tested one of these out first hand today.
No chance in hell youre printing a tight radius at 600mm/20k acceleration and its turning out well.
At 300mm/20k, with 225mm parameter speed, it was all over the place and trying to tip itself over.
Surface finish on the 1" circle was garbage! So much ghosting the part would be unusable.
Simplify's stock configuration for the K1 is set to 125mm for a reason.
