Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray BETTER than a Mustang Dark Horse?

The C8 Stingray has been a home run for Chevrolet. Powering this Corvette is a 6.2L V8 that pumps out 495HP & is mated to an 8-speed DCT. On the outside you will notice the Z51 package gives you extra aero, upgraded brakes and the GM Performance active exhaust. That color is Caffeine Brown, which is now discontinued. Zeus Bronze was a lighter color that was discontinued after 2021.

I bought my 2023 Corvette Z51 about a year ago and it still feels special everytime I get behind the wheel. I couldn't recommend it enough.

The good news is that C8's are pretty plentiful now so getting a great deal is not impossible, and if the price point is similar only trunk space will decide which is better. the local chevy dealer by me has a C-8 for around 67K so they are out there.

The C8 lineup has a great price/spec balance, If you can get one for the msrp go for it. My dad loves his Z06.

C8...WOW. I think this color will "wear well" with time. At first I liked the rapid blue but I think in the long run the novelty of those wild colors will wear off. I love this color with that color interior. GREAT video Joe....thanks. PS: USA.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can compete with this masterpiece of all-American engineering! Foreign junk like JDMs and Porsche dream to be as good as Corvettes. And I'm not even talking about the Z06, which is leagues ahead, that's just how good these cars are!

There are dealerships that will sell you a C8 at MSRP. So you can still get a 1LT for mid 60’s. I’ve been waiting for 2 years for my C8 but thankfully my C7 is amazing.

Looks great and sounds even better, I love the deep throaty growl from the V8 in this C8 Stingray. When I think of any Mustang (even a Black Horse) I think of it being up against the Chevy Camaro or a Dodge Charger, Corvettes are in a totally different catagory of vehicle.
