Here is the best way for any player to defeat the warden. It is a very tough mob to beat but in the end, it might just be rewarding.

U can kill this thing with no armor, a pit, and a bow

As someone who farmed ancient city to death here is some tips:
1. Bring pants with swift sneak 3 of you have, some hoes, shears and maybe some torches you dont need more
2. Set up a base nearby where you can run to if you are followed but it should be about 20 blocks away from the city to avoid boom
3. Just sneak sprint around an break the shreakers you can sorround them with whool to avoid them from activating
4. If the warden spawns just run away you have enough time to escape his aggro range
You dont really need armor in a one on one situation you are dead anyway

I think they should introduce a sculk dimension and to access it, you must kill the warden to get they key

The ancient city isn’t the only place where you can find the warden, you can find them anywhere in a deep dark biome. And for those who don’t know how or where to find an ancient city, the ancient city is often found deep down under mountains that have a high altitude, and it is often located in snowy biomes. This has helped me locate the ancient city, and I’ve managed to find several ancient cities because of it. The ancient city is likely to generate in a desert, but you can go there and try it there.

No matter how OP your armor is, once the Warden release that sonic boom or whatevs will be pointless though

Warden should atleast drop echo shards with a chance of dropping the Silence trim

if you want something more intense:

netherite armor:
-protection 4
-unbreaking 3
-thorns 3
-mending
-none of the armor specific enchantments (like respiration) really matter. swift sneak would be useless considering you’ve already summoned the warden

weapons:
-sharpness 5 netherite sword/axe
-power 5 bow and arrow

specials:
-1 strength II potion (1:30)
-1 speed II potion (1:30)
-3 turtle master potions (resistance 4, slowness 6, 0:20)
-1 enchanted golden apple
-regular golden apples (optional)

the warden is meant to be a punishment, not a boss. You're supposed to sneak around and not summon the warden. That's why you have three chances before it spawns. That's why its drop is garbage.
