I'm sure everything will go well, and so happy you're on the verge of putting all the surgery behind you... or, in front of you in this case ;) Dealing with an uncontrollably happy little soldier is something that most of us cis guys had to deal with in our teenage years so I find it amusingly fitting that it's a part of your process as well. I'm so glad you've accepted the help and care from your friends. I haven't personally had any surgeries but I've always been around to help my mom after her various surgeries... she isn't a big fan of asking for help but realizes she needs it. I've gone from ahead of you in the phallo process to behind you now (still waiting for a stage 3 surgery date after a break to get some other things fixed first), so I'm very eagerly awaiting updates on how it all goes, and your wonderful advice will be super-valuable for when my turn comes around. You've just reminded me to get some Hibiscrub in stock for the couple of weeks before surgery :-). I hope it all goes smoothly for you mate, both physically and mentally.

One reason I think I've worked out for the change in testicle implant timing is that they've changed the scrotum shaping technique, so the stage 2 re-shaped scrotum needs time to heal before the implant and pump go in at stage 3. And I've heard the re-shaped scrotum tends to hang better. I'm so glad I've had the one testicle for the time since my 1st stage though, it's been comforting/much less dysphoric.
