Approaching the end of my lower surgery, it was discovered that I needed to have some problems with urethral hook up sorted out before moving on to having the final stage of RA phalloplasty. Unfortunately these have left me with some complications and infections with my bladder.

Hi Finn, I am so relieved that you found comfort and a safety net in the online community. Sometimes it is so important to feel that people care for us. I wish you a solid recovery for your bladder and all the strength you need to grieve your loss. Take your time.

I'm so glad you're updating for your phallo, even in the difficult times, you're doing so much for the community by doing so! You're one of the main reasons I started documenting my transition, so thank you for that! Although I'm sorry you're still going through complications :( but the gaps/night gaps are progress, you'll get there :D

I subscribed to your channel a couple of months ago and I feel like I know you personally...you share very deeply and even during the dark moments. You are an inspiration, don't quit before the miracle. I watch alot of trans guys on the tube but you're the only one who is in recovery just like me and I can relate to that. Continue to stay stong.

Hey Finn,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having to deal with these complications. It's upsetting and rather frightening to hear, I only imagine how you're feeling. I truly feel for you. You are being so very brave. Thank you for doing these updates, even while you're going through so much.
Sending love and healing energy your way Finn. Please reach out to those close to you.. when you're feeling overwhelmed. You're so loved and we care!

(silly health rant)
p.s. with taking antibiotics it not only fights infection it also kills good bacteria in your body. Particularly the good stuff that is in your gut. Your gut bacteria is very important and has an impact on your body in many different ways like your immune system. Healing. Mood. I take a probiotic 2 hours after I take an antibiotic and it helps put the good bacteria back into your gut. The antibiotic will still be doing its job, but without any harm. Anyway, look into it more if you want!

Lots of love your way my dear Finny. Glad that we are helping you. It's going to get better even if right now it doesn't look like, I promise you. This issue with your bladder sounds truly annoying but I'm sure it'll sort itself out at some point, again, patience my friend. Big hug. We love you ❤

don't forget to eat yogurt as antibiotics play havoc on your good bacteria . I can go 6 - 8 hours during the day without a bathroom break but every night I am up at 3:45 and in the bathroom - so, get in the habit of trying to see if during the day you can hold off going for and extra 5 minutes (and just increase the time). If you can manage three hours at night you should be able to extend your daylight hours between trips to the loo. This is a setback but you are seeing improvement. Good luck, it will get better.

It must be so hard having to deal with all the mental and physical fall out of surgery at the same time as dealing with Blake's death. Hang on in there bro.

When you were talking about feeling like this surgery wasn't really for anything (that's probably a bad way of putting what you said, but I hope you know what I mean), I was wondering if you could think of it like an inoculation? You feel fine beforehand, but then can feel really bad for a bit after - once you get past that bit though, you're protected - in this case from further complications.

You've gone through so much crap before now, Finn, you will get through all this too!

If we are your 'bottom of the box', we will try to be a strong bottom! (pun intendid) :-D
Joke aside, I know you will overcome this bump in the road. This last couple of years you have found so much strength deep inside you, and you have gained even more coping skills to deal with things like this. And, at the bottom, there's the Finn Fam ;-)

As a person who has suffered from bladder infection all my life I can suggest to take also calming products for the bladder (natural!) they won't cure the infection but they help to get a bit of pain away (same as putting aloe on sun burns I think). Sorry for my crappy english I hope you can understand what i mean :)
