I used to run into James around the bay area when he lived here. He was always super nice and the kind of guy you see here, playing for the love of the music and the love of the fans.

All of the videos I'm seeing of these shows amaze me how much fan interaction they're having its awsome. These guys do truly appreciate and love their fans. All of these younger band need to be watching this and seeing what these guys do. I've been lucky enough to get to see them live once back in 04 3 rows from the stage and these guys dont just get up there and play a concert they put on a real show.

I am not an over the top Metallica fan, love a lot of different songs but seeing the fan interaction here deserves the greatest of respect.
Shit like that means nothing to the world but the world to those involved.
The stage set out alone is amazing from an interactive perspective but that shit James did is next level .

2005 Metallica concert in Sacramento ca, kirks guitar died in the beginning intro to ONE and James just kept playing the intro until Kirk got a new guitar to begin the intro too. You can’t just stop the whole song together and see what’s going on

Such a cool dude. I met James at the Summer Sanitarium Tour 20 years ago. He was such a nice dude. And you could tell he actually cares about meeting you and knowing you.

That is so cool. It's awesome to see James so happy and into things. Seriously, if these guys hang up the metal when they're 75+ and James plays nothing but acoustic and bluegrass shows, I'm still going to see it.
