I was watching the British Masters last weekend, and they had Lee Westwood guesting in the commentary (announcers) box for a couple of hours. Westwood described an incident from about a decade previously where he had just finished his first round at the US Masters at Augusta. He goes into the players area to get some food and sees Miguel tucking into a steak and a large glass of red wine. He walks over and asks Miguel how his round went.

"My round?" replied Miguel. "I'm still waiting to tee off."

I'm no fan of the way Bradley and his caddy acted, during the incident and afterwards, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. I bet they are pretty embarrassed this morning. Bradley owes Jiminez an apology.... he also needs to get rid of his half-witted caddy too.

You have to remember in Matchplay, if you believe your opponent is not playing correctly you HAVE to call it in order to win a particular hole, there is no point complaining after as by then its too late. So Miguel is entitled to voice an opinion concerning his opponents shot, very different to stroke play when at the end of a round you can refuse to sign the card.... great TV however !

So on the 13th when Miguel has to take a drop, Keegan feels it's okay for him to come over, but he feels it's not okay for Miguel to do the same on the 18th. And it's okay for Keegan's caddie to insult Miguel, but it's not okay for Miguel to react.

Keegan needs to see a sports psychologist.
