If you do WWII Germany vs WWII Russia without any help from any other country, then Russia would lose. Germany only lost because they were fighting on more than 1 front.

Germany is rich country while Russia is poor. If a war breaks out between these two countries Germany will start producing massive numbers of tanks, airplanes etc.
