Writers on this show probably modeled this character on Fred Trump. Wood Guthrie had written a song about the Donald's slumlord father back in the day.

If you could tell people in 1958 that this would be a reality in 2016, they wouldn't believe you! For those who think this clip was edited, the episode of Trackdown, season 1, episode 30, titled The End Of The World aired on May 9th, 1958, when POTUS non grata Donald Trump was 12 years old. The character played by Lawrence Dobkin was in fact named Walter Trump.
