anybody who saw the game saw gomes was getting too aggressive with Son elbowing and fouling him. Son saw red for a split second and saw a chance to get him back and took it. Unfortunately, foot was caught at a bad angle and Son realized he just might have ended a player's career. Just misfortune all around. Shit happens in sports.
