Drawing the Opposite of my Style! #artstylebend

Hey everyone! I've been seeing this art style challenge going around on Instagram and gave it a try. I mainly tried to change these things:

Western cartoon to anime
Clean, minimal lines to detailed sketchy lines
Realistic anatomy to (slightly) simplified anatomy
High contrast to low contrast
Cell shading to soft shading

I don't think using the same sketch for a base was a mistake. It actually makes the comparison between the two styles easier to see imo.

First off, love your art!!! Also, you said that you don’t think you have a very recognizable lineart style, but I don’t think that’s true! Every time I see your lineart I immediately know it’s your art! (But that’s just my opinion) :, ^) Great video!
