Michael K. Williams Of ‘The Wire’ Remembered After His Death

Best known as Omar Little on “The Wire,” actor Michael K. Williams was found dead in his home on Monday. He was 54. Police say the likely cause was a drug overdose. NBC News Now anchor Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.

Me and my boy were chillin at a lobby area of a club in nyc having a funny convo then Michael enters with a group of his people and instantly greets us without us seeing who he was up close. Just seen two black guys talking and greeted us with respect. Seen him a couple other times after and still showed the same energy. RIP King
