Charles Laughton did one helluva job with his Southern Gothic masterpiece. Too bad critics didn't see it that way. Story goes Mr. Laughton was so hurt by the reviews that he vowed never to direct another film. By 1963, he was gone...

The second season of "Boardwalk Empire" was HBO at it's best since "The Sopranos". I know it's a bold statement, but it's true. Williams had some good picks! "Hunger" is one of the best directorial debuts ever made. Fassbender was amazing too!!!
