My vote is for the 16610LV kermit. I don't know about Japan, but prices in the US for later models are only $5K higher than the all black. I think that it's worth it for the maxi dial. To me the maxi dial improves the aesthetics and readability of the watch enough to justify the price. However, I do not see the price justification for the flat four bezel insert.

Agree….. either purchase a Sea Dweller 16600, or a vintage Sub 16610 ….Date…..no date…..preference’s are subjective the rehaut is inline with the newer models a nice touch.

I have 4. The datejust SG 36 white dial Roman, the Seadweller steel and the Skydweller SG black dial. The last one is the Tudor BB SG GMT (coke) I have no need for any other watch

Personally, I’d go with the 116600ln—only made for 3 years and all the modern specs. I love that datejust, I have the 41mm version. If he wants a pre-ceramic I’d sell the blackbay and get the 14060 or the 16600.😎

Rolex is the only brand that holds value and also is highly desirable. Yes there are others they do one or the other, but not both. I like omega, but I only consider Rolex for the reasons stated above.

I got the 16610 V serial for the engraved Rehaut and I didn’t want the ceramic bezel. I feel like it fits like a glove to my wrist and I would love to have a 5 digit explorer 2 polar dial to go with it when I want the extra pop.

I got myself a 16600 no-holes case earlier this year after watching all your videos on it and what a great choice that was... i Had owned 14060M and date subs but never really liked the feel or look of them, specially how common they are. Can't recommend it enough!
