We take away all the mystery behind electricity and explain it in terms that everyone can understand. This is how I wish electricity was taught when I was in school - or maybe I just wasn't listening? hehe

Slater explaining my whole physics class in one video and me actually getting it!!! This man should seriously consider the academe 😊

I know this error is due to the font used in the video does not have a lowercase letter but for the information of everyone there is a difference between using m and M as a prefix to a certain parameter. For Example,
m - milli as in milliampere (mA), milli has a multiplier of 0.001 so a 5, 000 mAh = 5 Ah, while
M - Mega as in Megampere (MA), Mega has a multiplier of 1, 000, 000 so a 5, 000 MAh = 5, 000, 000, 000 Ah
Hope that helps.

I go back to this video every three months, para lang sigurado ako sa binibili kong appliances. Thanks much!!!

i love how slater actually applies the concept and principles of science communication. this will definitely at least change the perspective of the people about these kinds of complex topics that are usually seen to be intimidating. we need more people like you and wishing you all the best for creating insightful content <3

I’m currently doing my lighting layout and power layout plate for my utilities course subject. And it really helps me especially in basic load computation. Thank youuu

Such a help. I am currently a physics student and ito yung lesson coverage namin aout electricity. Atleast I watched the video so that I have the glimpse sa mga terminologies kung ano talaga ibig sabihin ng mga terms.

APPLAUSE!!!! This is the best explanation I have seen on the internet so far and I don't even speak THANK YOU!!!

FINALLY! I always "kinda got it" before, but this is the first time it clicks into place like those blocks click together. I think the comparison between 110v and 220v setups was what helped me get clarity.

The basics of electricity that are applicable to everday life! May it be in monitoring our electricity bills, puchasing appliances, also for those who like to purchase appliance/electronic devices from overseas where they have different standard, etc.

Taking the board exam for REE this April ❤

This is EASILY the most simple way to explain it 👏

Sir Slater, I really liked your content especially about building design tips and now you're in electrical stuff. My kind of interest and I hope you can give us more 😃. You're better than my Engineering professors in comes of teaching 😌

ADAPTERS (Voltage and Amps):

ALWAYS MATCHED (parehas) yung VOLTAGE ng adapter sa device/appliances na ginagamit niyo.

for the AMPS, you can use SAME or HIGHER amps adapter versus sa consumption ng device/appliances na gagamitin. The device will only use what it needs to.

** I always visualize electricity same as water.
- Voltage as the Pressure; Amps as the Volume

I don't speak Tagalog, yet, this was the best explanation of all the YT videos and I get it now.

Very simple and fun to learn...
Tama naman po explanation or definition nyo sa Voltage however, may konting mali lang po sa representation.... si Current (Amps or I ) yung nagbibilang ng bilis ng flow ng Pressure (Voltage)

First off I'm caucasion and needless to say I don't speak any fillopino languages(sadly, but my wife is Filipino and speaks 3 but i digress)... I've also watched a dozen videos on this stuff as i'm trying to get things straight for a future planned solar system that i want to do myself. Anyways, even with Slaters slight accent, I actually learned what i've been struggling to learn. Outstanding simple and to the point content dumbed down for us regular folks. I agree with another comment you definitely have skills... Appreciate it.
