Tutorial Tuesdays: Volts, Ohms, Amps, and Watts

Today on Tutorial Tuesdays, I will be covering the basics of voltage (volts), current (amps), and Resistance (ohms), and teaching you how to apply some super basic formula's to real-life projects and things.

This is actually a brand new series, with this being the first installment. I hope to be able to post these every other Tuesday, however with education and community projects in the way, this may not be possible. I May have to put these off I become too busy.

If you have any technical or electrically-related topic you want me to cover, add them to the comments. I do try to read and reply to everyone. I do have some ideas for other videos; possibly related to more analogies of volts, ohms, amps, watts, tutorials on energy vs power vs charge, impedance matching, capacitors, inductors, transistors, MOSFETS, logic gates, etc. However, do to my limited knowledge, time, and busy schedule, I can't make any guarantees.

Thank you for this video. Makes it clear for me. Much more easy to understand than my schoolbooks. BTW, I like the OST =)

Great video. Really well explained. really useful to be presented with the problems to work out after, and then be walked through the process.

I saw somewhere that Voltage is the water pressure on a river, Amps is the amount of water flowing through the river, Ohms are the rocks that resists the flow of water, and Watts is the power that the water could provide (For example if it’s in a watermill)

Had to stop watching at 0:44. Music unbearable and too loud!

This was great. Thank you so much! also i think you started using 280 mA part way through the first question instead of 218 mA

I just don't understand how people take months to learn this when you can literally learn it in 12 minutes, just the educational system sucks, doesn't teach anything and it actually teaches you things with pure theory and doesn't give you tools or experiences, it's like teaching how to assemble a piece of furniture without it, it's just too specific, students don't learn and it's useless... Thanks for the video!!!
