You left out some information you need to go to name check first so your business name not taking go to go daddy buy that name create a business email at the same place get a business phone number then create the llc put all that information on in when it come in the mail go to the bank and open up a business account you have to have all of this information before you apply for a LLC I know we all got a different way but this is the way to go if not you will be paying a lot good luck 🤞 everyone 2024 it's the year we all gonna win 😂

Great info. Question. So are you suggesting to avoid llc altogether and go straight s-corp to avoid paying for the fees? Don't you still have to pay for filing fees or no? Asking because this is the step I'm at. Also, so I've had a sole proprietorship for 16 yrs., however, due to my chronic illnesses, I never got the chance to really work that business like I wanted to. I have a Duns # which I've never done anything with either, my question is do I keep the old EIN number for the old "umbrella main business" since it has history and then just do D.B.A.'s for the other businesses under the main business and that 1 llc or am I supposed to get new llc's for each add'l business and what would that model look like. I hope I'm saying this correctly because I want to do this right, ty.

I have a question, say I set up an LLC for a business, like a shopify dropshipping store that sells disposable cups and the business name is something like "Jerry's Disposable Cups" or any other business name that would suggest what the business probably does (selling disposable cups).
In a case that the business doesn't work out (since most of the time we are just testing the profitability of different dropshipping products) and I want to test a new dropshipping product.
Could I just change the name of the existing LLC I have from "Jerry's Disposable Cups" to a new name to test a completely different product or business, or do I have to setup a whole new LLC again for the new business?
So if I have to test 5 products before finding profitability, then I would need 5 different LLCs?
Because I just feel like setting up an LLC is a bit of an over commitment to something that you're testing and might not end up being profitable.
So can the name be changed?
Or is there a way around it?
Or am I thinking about this the wrong way?
