In this video we take a moment to reflect upon the classical style of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, who sadly died this week aged 99.

The Duke was a remarkable man, who has left an indelible impression upon the United Kingdom and those he met. He was also a thoroughly stylish man, who exemplified the British virtues of dressing well. In this video look at some of the many suppliers of traditional style items that he graced with his royal warrant.

We sent our most sincere sympathies to all the members of his family and friends, who will perhaps take some solace from the knowledge that the Duke was so well respected and loved by those, who were touched by his influence.

My condolences Ash, on such a great loss for your country and the world. I myself, even as an American was very sad when my phone alerted me in early in the morning that the Duke had passed. I agree, he was the consummate British gentleman, such great style and manly grace, and always looked so smart, even out in the fields hunting. I think his biggest style flex was using his old Land Rover Defender as his hearse.

If you haven't heard there is a car company called Ineos making a car called the Grenadier that is basically a modern version of a classic Defender now that Land Rover discontinued the classic style.

As usual an interesting and enjoyable approach to style. However, and please correct me if I am wrong but Hunter Boots are now manufactured in China. A typical example of a well known British brand moving its production line out of the UK but not informing the public it has done so.
