For some, it also grows darker.
They could start out light/translucent, like a fine fuzz. But when plucked, shaved or allowed to keep growing at times. The hair usually gets its colour and becomes darker.

I mean there’s also the fact that people start shaving as teens, and the hair keeps ACTUALLY getting thicker and denser as they age. But once you’re 20-30, depending on genetics, it’s not getting any thicker no matter how much you shave

Yea in my experience atleast waxxing or using tweezers (anything that pulls the hair out completely) the hair if anything feels thinner when it grows back

It's also because more hair is literally growing back, but not *because* you shaved. Hair grows in cycles, and cutting or shaving hair in the middle of its cycle will have it appear to grow in at the same rate as a new hair.
