Time to do a give away, after seeing which ones still work, and which ones have the batteries gone crusty inside.

that 13:12 "ahh get this out of the road" is a good candidate for "How to express your deepest emotions 101" 😂

You can do a DMM-Wall and probably also a Calculator-Wall would be very cool as a background!

That's a whole lot of battery leakage waiting to happen...

You might consider giving the ones you don't want to a local maker space, or a school or something.

Enjoyed the video. I jumped down the rabbit hole on multimeters during the Covid lockdowns. I still had to work for a shop, but wanted to find a cheap meter to use at work since theft or run over by an excavator was a high risk for my Fluke 87-5. I have a small collection of multimeters now, and would love to see you do a teardown & review of the Radio Shack (Tandy) model 22-216. I could be wrong, but I think it is the only analog multimeter that has autoranging.

I always enjoy seeing stuff like this!

Job lot them to a local makerspace would be an easy, quick giveaway.

should probably check those for leaky batteries just in case

How many multimeters do we want to see?
YES! 😂

So many multimeters, wow... but no eternal classic 830? Especially from a well-known manufacturer like Mastech or UNI-T.

can you do a video on the eevblog meters and compare the three? id love to see that and i have so many people asking me all the time which should i order or which do i want etc this would give me somewhere to send them to hopefully make up their own mind. maybe you have one already but i couldnt find one. im specifically looking at you doing the eevblog ones not like a 100$ or 300$ meter shootout type thing. just the ones currently available. i dont mind doing it myself but i dont have the meters here. if someone wanted to send them over id be happy to do a full length in depth comparison between them myself.

Should you take the batteries out so none go nasty?

100% agree your comment that the 869 is just simply "too big" for bench use. In fact i would rather instead use my 34401a on the bench as a better experience... but the main thing is that it just would be so cool if Brymen could "shrink" the 869's 2-line LCD into the new form factor of the 786. As being an update to actually replace the 869. So for heaven's sake,

So Dave: if you do agree with this opinion and have any feedback loop / ways to influence or pass back to Brymen. Or maybe at an event to get around regular reps to chat more directly with an engineer or product manager. Would be very grateful for that. Because the huge-ness of the 869 - it simply ain't never going to change! Not until Brymen can be updating it at some point. (but surely they must already be knowing this however, right?) Haha

Sniffing an EEVBlog Meter Giveaway, haha! Nice stock, from cheap stuff to high end.

BM235 vs 869, that's a huge size difference! I never ever realized.

"And now let's try that again to see if it was not a Fluke..."
Waiting for the next one :)
