Astounding it managed to get a whole star. ;-} But is did register well on the resistance test. Hopefully it was shipped to you under the prime membership plane. Fun video look forward to more.

Darren, Which one is better, LCR TC2 or Bside ESR02 Pro ?

But does it read a standard non-led diode-?? I also noticed one of those magnets is right behind the continuity speaker, maybe its keeping the diaphragm from moving correctly and muffling the sound-?? lol

1.5 V in the diode mode? Try finding the Soviet MCR (МЦР) LED multimeter, it sends 4.6 V in all resistance modes.

Ha, I bet 1 star on that SP20D too, can't wait to hear the horror upon looking at the input jacks

Guess you could always cut the leads off, connect some 4mm banana plugs and get a decent set of gold plated test leads out of it. Thanks for the review anyway.

so, did you pay custom tax for buying this Custom multimeter, Darren? 😂
man, the accuracy is there, but why oh why...

Oh well...just like at the Americas and Europe there are cheap versions of tools and equipment for the non serious fellow. Amazon over in Japan is actually popular! Maybe next you would try your luck finding some nice stuff at the Yahoo auctions...maybe some multimeters at that

What could I say but "chotto muda janai no" and "sono okane wa (は) motto ii mono ni tsukatte hoshii!" Bit of a waste and better use that money on something better... (miss living over there up Sapporo...maybe someday...)

And sorry for being lost for a while...life problems had hit pretty good and my multimeter test leads are shot...maybe try the ANENG PT1008 because of silicone instead of PVC (because I accidentally burned my leads on an exhaust pipe)

That's pretty expensive for something that would be barely worthy of being included with your favourite breakfast cereal.

Almost looks like a bad Hioki knockoff. Oh, well, they can't all be winners.

So sad, I like Japan, cool Japan.

Could you find the best cheapo but japan brand (I guess non-Sanwa but if Sanwa has a good cheapo one with all the works), japan designed (it can be Made in China) multi-meter, perhaps this cool ninja looking multimeter did not represent well (did not represent Japan).

One way to make it a bit affordable is to find a north american parcel forwarder that has a japan warehouse that deliver to canada or US route.

God bless, Rev. 21:4
