These delicious Scottish Gingerbread Slabs are so delicious and such a lovely warming Autumn treat! I can't think of a better time of year to make them.

These Gingerbread Slabs are based on a traditional Scottish Gingerbread recipe which is a fmaily favourite of ours. They travel well and make lovely snacks with a cup of tea.

Additional Details - Oven Temp 160C (fan) Oven and cook for around 50 minutes to an hour. Make sure it is cooked through by testing with a cake pin. If it comes out clean its done but it is a sticky mixture so bare that in mind too. Take Care, Angie x

Oh…yum, yum, yum! Love gingerbread and this looks fairly simple (which I like a lot). I’d love to learn to make traditional boiled pudding for the holidays and a fruit cake -if that’s traditional that is. Thanks Angie. Off to buy your cookbook. Slainte math! .
