do you ever have issues with the grass dying during dry periods?

Hi. If I’m thinking about doing an outside French drain (footer) roughly 100 foot in total how do I handle pitch. I was thinking maybe focus on pitching it in say the first 25 % to get the water moving and then level it out a bit and then get back to a decent pitch on the tail end to get things moving / help the discharge. Does that make any sense? The reason I say this is because I was questioning if I pitched the entire run over the hundred foot wave below the footer on the tail end. Sorry if I’m not clear with my words. Tired

So is packing the trench with pipe cheaper than packing it with stone?

I'm doing a foundation drain w/ 2 of you 8slot pipes and have to dig 6' down to the footer bc house in on a hill. The length of the wall I'm treating is about 30' long. How do I know how much stone I will need? I know more is better but I've been recommended anywhere from 5 -20 tons.

Sounds like I should just trench further with knife cut 4" pipe surround with some stone and then 2 layers of fabric, instead of digging a huge hole for one of those 2ft x 2ft basins at the end. Do you agree? My sump pump goes crazy in the rain and I want to bury the downspout nearby. I was thinking of knife cut 10ft piece Almond the back of the house into 9x9 basin, where downspout drops water then go out 30ft or so total, first 10 or so solid pipe. I hate how much water quickly goes into my sump pit and want to minimize it first if possible.

I just bought pipe from you. Love the videos. I have a major issue here at my house in NC. Neighbor ran all downspouts into my yard. What size fabric should I buy from you to burrito wrap a two 8-slot pipe drain?
