We're gonna put in a new French Drain system and we'll show you guys what that looks like.

We're also going to put in a new roof runoff system because the last one didn't have a way to catch the leaves, it didn't have an inline sediment trap to catch the shingle gravel so we're just going to abandon all the old. We'll show you guys what the updates look like.

This work intrigues me. No house is the same and requires proper planning beforehand. Great job guys!

Beautiful work guys, I just ran three separate lines behind retaining walls and used this method with the fabric .I'm in Australia our slotted pipe has a sock on it so I presume it will be even better as no dirt will enter the system at all 20mm metal as we call it was also put in 3/4 the way up .

In my area majority of landscape companies claim they perform drainage services 😂. Drainage specialists, and landscape specialists are very different. Painfully I saw similar socked pipe thrown in 3"-18" silty clay soil, line bellies, no laser or even string grade, backfilled with same silty clay soil, then 3" dirty gravel on top, silt plugged the trench and lines quickly, and water pooled on surface, so landscapers came back and not joking, dug holes where water pooling, Teed into the compromised plugged socked pipe adding catch basins to same line to drain pooling surface water, so now rain scoured bare silty clay silt water drains into basins, plugs them, and the corrugated drain pipe inside, and since now clogged inside, and outside, the water flows on the surface "over" the drains, rather then into the drains. So they came back to affected properties and tapped into those houses underground ABS gutter rain drain pipes in Order to get flow, no permits, no backflows, and worse the gutter drains go into public storm system dumping silty clay soil into storm system, and eventually lake. ☎️ Hello City Enforcement 😁

are your products recommended for a foundation footer drain 6-7' under the ground or just these shallow trench drains?

How deep do you normally dig the start of your drains?

I just seen a video trying to debunk filter fabric. They didn’t show the drain working or anything they used shovels in manual handtools for the whole job.

Okay so what is this unspoken controversy between top perforations or bottom? One side insists you lay the pipe on a rock bed holes down so the water can flood up into the pipe. The other lays its pipe at the bottom of the trench as a low point, holes up so the water floods down into the drain.

Obviously I know which side FD Man is on, and I personally think it makes no sense to have a gravity-fed conduit with holes at the bottom.... but clearly these bottom-holers aren't total lunatics, so what gives?
