Wow! Ryan, you are not a car reviewer, but after watching this review, I realized that even some car "reviewers" don't know how to make a great review like you did. It was well informed (as your videos always are!) and it flowed really well from on point to another. I especially liked your comments on the yoke.

There’s a 50/50 chance i assembled something on this vehicle, glad drivers are enjoying the ownership experience overall

15:11 wow these issues... they hurt to watch. I took delivery of a blue M3P from Temecula (Carlsbad was another option) about 3 weeks ago and I've had zero issues. Nothing close to what you've experienced with your MSP.

The Yoke Comparison versus “other” Reviewers was Genius and Hilarious 😂

Well done Mr. Shaw! It is with great honor and respect that I hereby declare you President of The Official Plaid Club! Of course The Official Plaid Club hasn't been formed yet, but I tell ya, if it ever happens you're definitely the president.

@16:48 The way you closed the door that cause the window pane reverberate.... 2 shots fired at my heart (once for every time the door closed)

Feels like you are checking quality issues for a second hand car

Your point about the acceleration is spot on. It’s hard to convey to people who haven’t experienced it. I have to relate it to amusement park launch rides. No noise. No drop in at heist for shifting. It just goes. Like a jet take off but harder. Before I tried it I thought it would get old quick. Nope. Maniacal cackling is only a stab of the throttle away at any time. Massive levels of self control and discipline are required. This is dangerously addictive. Like the rat that can push a lever for dopamine. You might forget friends family work and food. Lol ok a bit over the top but until you’ve tried it you can’t comprehend.

Hey Ryan. I like to hear more about selling your model Y and your decision to buy the Model S Plaid 👍👍👍. Like cost breakdown from the model Y and S.

Congrats on getting the car Ryan. I have had a P85D for the last 4.5 years and still look forward to driving it, and still get a kick out of the acceleration. I have ordered a Plaid but delivery in Australia is last quarter 2022, so I still have a very long wait. At least I have a magnificent car to drive until then.

Only problem with no turn signal stock, as I see it, is when you're in a roundabout and the steering wheel is eg. at almost 90 degrees, and you need to turn on the right turn signal. As far as it looked, when you did the roundabout, it didn't seem easy. In Europe we have a lot of roundabouts 😀

Just saw this car in my neighborhood! First 2022 model S I've seen and it is spectacular looking!! It's really nice in person!!

Do you still have the 3 and the Y? I'd think that if I had a new S I wouldn't ever drive the other two.

Ryan, I didn't realize that the 19" wheels were wheel covers. Thanks for that info. What do the wheels look like underneath them? On the 2018 Model 3, I preferred the look of the wheels to the look of the wheel covers, despite giving up a few miles of highway range.

After driving my Plaid for nearly a year, yoke needs improvements, 1) turn signals n emergency lights should relocate to both thumb tips or index tips at back of handle ber, double press for blinks. 2) horn button should go back to traditional center 3) steering yoke could shrink size by 2 inches, lower right corner blocks lower left screen a bit 4) eliminate lower horizontal bar cuz they do noting

Im so happy for you!!! I cant wait to see how this unfolds for you. Im considering upgrading from my performance model Y to a long range model X (not plaid, I for SURE don't need that speed.. the Y is already too fast lol)... but I'd consider an S too (long range)

Late to the party but on my third Tesla now, nothing will ever be the same as taking delivery of my 2017 Model S but the 2022 Model S is absolutely awesome. They truly made an incredible machine meaningfully better.

Another advantage you can see on the "Tesla Plaid Channel" that the 19-inch wheels are lighter and faster in drag times.
Thanks for one of the best if not the best YouTube Tesla channels.
