Blender NPR shaders breakdown Episode 1 - Stipple Shading

A short overview of how to achieve stipple/grain shading in Blender.

I hope you like this new format I'm trying, I'm going to try and upload these as often as I can. If you have any shaders you'd like to see a breakdown of let me know :)

awesome tutorial!!! Blender 4.2 changed shadow settings a bit so here's what I did to make it work:
-In Render properties, go to Shadows and set Steps to 1
-In your light's settings, make sure resolution is very low, around .0001

After that you should be good, the shading section of the video is the same in Blender 4.2

I've never used Blender but I'm sooo interested in achieving this effect in a 3D model. Is it possible to use this shader with glass, metal or a textured material like wood? Or does the color ramp force it to be plain color? Thank you!!
