Crazy compared to the PSP times, you can now play a RDR 2 on a handheld🤯

In search mod it's much better to choose "high", so frame generation won't deactivate on fast camera movement and fps will be stable

This is underrated for some emulated games too. I played Mega Man X with frame gen on and was blown away at how it looked being bumped up to 60 fps.

This is pure quality and dedication coming from AMD. Love to see it!

Nice! Also works now on Legion Go despite being a native portrait display.

Why didn't you play on medium if you have a lot of fps

You should compare this to lossless scaling on the rog ally x

All the dynamic techniques not just for resolution upscaling like DRS but also for dynamic rendering together with the frame generation will play KEY ROLE in the future video games and GPU HW & SW because that's what gamers and industry was asking since beginning dedicated GPUs became gaming HW. Possibility to upscale games resolution and increase framerate with highest quality and as efficiently as possible either or by using both GPUs & AI is the holy grail of what future holds. Both Nvidia and AMD r doing great job in this field with Intel definitely not standing far behind and the rest like Apple, Qualcomm and Arm r definitely following this trend and making it very relevant.

This is really cool! Can you test it out on some emulators? Particularly the switch?😅

I really hope the frame gen lag can be supported and actually makes a difference; sadly for me is quite noticeable that laggy feeling… to the point that I prefer to enable again AMD Chill and lock at 30 the games that won't reach 60fps

While at times I do see or feel the difference between certain framerates, often I don't think I notice much of a difference. If it wasn't for the frame counter, I don't think I'd notice the difference between 55 fps and 65 fps for example.

I'd like this frame interpolation tech applied to videos. Would be so good to watch movies on VLC player.

The thing people cares about the most is does frame gen makes unplayable games playable? Can it double 15-20 fps to 30-40? I honestly can't really tell the difference between 60 and 120 fps. They are all playable in my book. In fact anything above 45fps is playable to me, however I want 1080p high with RT in cyberpunk for example, will frame gen do wonders here?

What I'm waiting for is AFMF, or the Lossless Scaling app to need less power to push more generated frames. For me, I wanna be able to set a lower TDP and get these magic additional frames without adding extra load, heat, and running battery down.

Just an FYI: AFMF2 isn’t going to give you the same great results for all games. For example, horizon forbidden west and hell divers 2 was unstable and gave me some motion blur, screen tearing, etc. I pretty much reverted back to the current version of AFMF because AFMF2 still needs some work. Obviously it’s a preview driver that’s why

With the latest stable release afmf 2 doesn't have any latency you just get the same latency as 30fps when it's doubled to 60fps when you expect the latency of 60fps
