The Old ways of rendering is slow and unreliable. This modern guide to will show you a faster, more efficient way to render walls. We’re ditching sand cement render and getting rid of old tools.

I’ll show you a better process for rendering where we’re using better materials, better tools and a totally different process. If you’re serious about rendering then I think you’ll love this video.

another excellent vid and very informative as always. Off the subject of rendering about a month ago you put up a video on how to apply plaster to a wall With a roller and at the end you informed us that you were going to do a more in-depth video on the subject. If so when could we expect to see a follow up. Many thanks and great channel.

I'm 58 and never used the materials you are using or the power tool. Will try this on a small job first to get a feel. Thanks

Great vid thanks, I have been using those sponge floats for ages they are brilliant, get yourself a Washboy grouting bucket they make cleaning the sponge floats a doddle

Top vid as always Blaine 👍 Quick question.. if I'm breaking down large walls into smaller sections, would you recommend expansion beads to do this? Cheers!

Very good job, but who in their right mind will decide to render a great looking facing brick wall?
If you were puting external insulation, sure.
Also, it's best to embed a mesh in the first coat.

Never mind that pre grit, Use Webber rend aid for your scratch and leave it a couple of days to cure If you find it expensive for a scratch you can half and half it with sand and cement, Amazing product, Then top off with the OCR, No issues, Whatever you use Scratch should be left to dry a few days !! Basics of rendering

With OCR it’s a one coat system, why did you apply in two coats, scratching the first?
