I had this feature on my ‘13 Ford CMax and LOVED IT! I wish my ‘21 Outback (current car) had it.

This is so much better than the emblem sensor on the 2023 OBW... I can open the tailgate hands free, but need to reach up and press the button to physically close it, which is such a HUGE user experience oversight. Closing the rear tailgate with full arms is quite a pain.

How do you adjust the hydraulic lift in a 2024 Forester Touring? I keep bumping my head and have to push the tailgate up. Can adjust the strut to push automatically higher?

Not a fan of the kick motion. I wish it was the same as the current Outback. Hopefully Subaru will not change it.

For the 2024 Outback, you could wave you hand over the sensor in the logo. I guess we won't see enormous upgrade for another 3 years. #Suburuupgrades
